Fender ’52 Telecaster
Place of Manufacture: Corona, CA USA
Year of manufacture: 1998
Color/Finish: Butterscotch
Cosmetic Condition: Good (-) with extensive relic’ng done by the previous owner. The neck has had the lacquer removed (quite nicely done) for faster playability, there are few large spots on the body where the finish is nearly down to the wood and there is some checking in the finish at the butt end of the guitar. The pickguard has been scuffed up with sand paper or something similar and the neck pickup cover has a small dent in it. The relic’ng looks mostly pretty good and convincing. Overall condition is a 7.5 out of 10
Operational Condition: Fully-Functioning
Case: comes with original tweed Fender case. Case is in very good shape with some light wear.
Description: These 90s ’52 Reissue Teles are great guitars and tend be able to hang with their much more expensive counterparts in the Custom Shop. This particular ’52, with its low-sheen neck especially plays like a CS and sounds excellent too. Provided you don’t mind your Teles looking like they were dragged behind a truck for a quarter mile, you’ll love the vibey and near vintage ’52 Tele!
