Fender MusicMaster

Year: Circa 1960-1963

Origin: Fullerton, CA. USA

Color: Desert Sand

Pickup: Original Fender single coil pickup

Case/Extras: Non-original gig bag

Modifications/Repairs: None

Operational Condition: Fully-functioning including all electronics, truss rod, etc. Original frets are in good shape with the expected wear for a guitar this age. Pickup has strong output and sounds clear, articulate, warm and musical.

Cosmetic Condition: Scrapes, bruises and lots of missing paint. This beauty has the patina that simply can’t be faked.

Description: This early 1960s MusicMaster is adorned with clay dots, “spaghetti logo”, slab rosewood board and nitrocellulose Desert Sand finish and we have a sneaking suspicion it may even have its original flatwound strings on it (although we can’t prove it). Oh yeah…and we’re also pretty sure that no one has ever peaked under the hood at this classic Fender..never had the pickguard lifted or the neck taken off. The sound is woody, toneful and distinctly 1960s Fender, which is to say it sounds incredible and the neck is an absolute delight to play on. You need this short scale stunner full of history at your side on stage and/or in the studio!
