Description: Man, kids growing up in the ’60s had the coolest “student model” guitars and this Dakota Red stunner from 1967 is no exception. A great looking guitar with a neck that is perfectly round and broken in and worn in just the right way, classic Mustang curves and the tone from the pickups is clear and musical with that character that 60’s Fenders have that simply cannot be captured with a new guitar. The other great thing about these old Fenders is they are pretty much the definition of robust. Simple care will ensure that this instrument will last a long, long time. Hell, we’ll probably still be enjoying these classics on a colony on Mars someday. They’re just that good and this one is as fine an example as any.
