Vintage Projector speaker cabinet incredible tone!

Cab Dimensions: 15.25″ wide 19.5″ tall

Cosmetic Condition: This cab is..how would you say it..”cosmetically challenged”. The cool old tweed covering has some small holes in spots, some water staining, scrapes etc..oh yeah, and the tolex is coming off the sides of the cab and is free to flap in the wind. The attached speaker cable’s covering has disintegrated partially and should probably be replaced although it is still functional as is.

Description: Here’s a speaker cabinet that likely went with a film projector way back in the 1940s or early 1950s. It’s in rough cosmetic shape but golly gee whitaker it sounds fantastic when plugged up to a tube amp. The original, vintage 8″speaker sounds a lot like a 1950s Champ amp to us (when plugged into an appropriate tube amp head of course). If you’re looking for a cool old art piece that also happens to sound incredible for your studio, rehearsal space or vintage-inspired live performances you gotta consider this cool, ol’ cab!
