Description:
Here’s the quite rare pink and pastels (aka “The Unicorn”) version of the now classic SK-1. The SK-1’s sampling ability can turn any noise you can make including ones that come from your body into a lo-fi sample that is transposed to each key (ever wanted to hear your whistle turned into an F#6 chord?). With a little bit of humming into the sampler, some delay and reverb from some guitar pedals and you’ll be into instant Sigur Ros territory. Not to mention the built in sounds in this thing are actually great! The organ and flute sound are completely useable and toneful and the brass ensemble is a perfect lo-fi take on the “Film Noir via the 1980s” timbre
