Description:

Here’s a not quite matched pair (they are two different models after all) but absolutely lovely-sounding set of tube 600 and 601 preamps. They have been screwed into some wood blocks that so they stand safely together (and look awesome we might add) but this can easily be removed from the wood blocks if you want to rack them up or arrange them differently somehow. These have a ton of gain on tap but can be subtle with some light coloration or give you full on tube saturation. One of the two units has the plug in Ampex transformer which sell for around $200 on its own. These Pres are inspiring machines that you’ll reach for time and time again for recording bass guitar, direct electric, overheads, vocals and more!
