Gibson Marauder
Year of Manufacture: 1980
Finish: Walnut
Modifications/Repairs: One wing of the multi-piece headstock had separated somewhat. Our technician re-glued and clamped it. There are no other mods or repairs to the instrument and it needs nothing
Operational Condition: Fully-functioning
Cosmetic Condition: Very good light marks and scratches in some spots. There is a small strip of glue that is visible from the aforementioned re-glued separation. It is very minor 8 out of 10 condition
Case: Comes with nice black tolex Epiphone Les Paul case. Case is a great fit other than the neck angle being more suited for a Les Paul than the Marauder. This is easily remedied by putting some cloth in the case under the guitar’s body.
Description: The Marauder is a bit of an underdog in the world of vintage Gibsons with its bolt on neck, simplified controls and Flying V-borrowed headstock but they’re great guitars in their own right..and this example is no exception. It has a medium profile neck and easy action and a sort of Fender on steroids tone that is versatile and toneful.
