Description: Here’s a really fun to play Japanese-made Apollo bass from the 1960s that sounds about as close to an upright bass as we’ve found when strung up with flat wounds which it is currently. It has a dry, thuddy, woody sound that just can’t be replicated in a modern instrument and it makes this one a wonderful go-to bass in the studio
