Description: Gibson’s budget hollow body back in the 1960s was the 120t. Gibson cut some production costs by incorporating all the electronics into the pickguard, loading it with a less expensive and thinner single coil and skipping the ornamentation that higher end models received. In the end though it didn’t stop these guitars from being a classic underdog in the guitar world that plays wonderfully well, has a loud, woody tone and has a ton of musical character when plugged in. The subtle sunburst finish is also gorgeous and the lacquer checking adds another layer of depth and visible history to the patina. It comes with a fresh setup from our tech and will inspire you each time you pick it up.
