Description: Talk about a sleeper! This vintage Japanese J-style bass plays, looks and sounds aawesome with a punchy, articulate tone and lots of tone variation between the two pickups. The neck was recently heat pressed (straightened in a press) and setup by our tech. The truss rod works well and there is adjustability up and down depending on the player’s preference. If you’re looking for a vintage bass with a lot of vibe that’s also a great player (and great…sounder..?) but dropping used car money on a vintage Fender, you owe it to yourself to consider this ’70s Sleeper from Japan!
