Ness CompuRhythm RS-800 Beatbox drum machine

Year: 1970s

Origin: Japan

Operational Condition: Fully-Functional. This machine was just serviced in 2024 by a professional tech and is working wonderfully.

Cosmetic Condition: When this machine came to us it had been split open at two corners where it had been glued together when it was manufactured originally. It has since been professionally reglued and won’t give the next owner any trouble but the tolex doesn’t cover this split entirely so it’s a bit unsightly.

Description: Here’s a great sounding, all-analog, vintage drum machine from the 1970s that is very rare. We’ve never seen another like it in fact despite loving these old analog drum machines and owning dozens and dozens. It features some really great beats, incredibly warm and fat tones and a good amount of variation due to the fact you can combine any two of the different presets to create even more patterns. It also has a wild Guiro sound that is quite cool but can be lowered in the mix or turned off completely if desired. This thing will add some serious vintage mojo to your studio and will certainly find its way into your recordings/live performance and likely even your songwriting process.
