Modifications/Repairs: Heads and snares changed. Heads are in okay shape. We’re not 100% sure about the wrap’s originality (hopefully a Ludwig connoisseur can shed some light on it). The wrap is a beautifully creamed white that has a thick gold sparkle to it but the sparkle does not have a lacquer over it that we can tell and is textured to the touch.

Cosmetic Condition: Good with some oxidation on the hardware and surface rust on sections of the hoops. There is also some wear to the logo. 7 out of 10 condition

Operational condition: Fully-functioning with an easy to use throw off.

Description: This drum is gorgeous and it’s from an important time in WFL’s (see: Ludwig) history. It has a slightly taller shell than most standard snares and has woody, dry tone that really nails that 1950s sound.
