Modifications/Repairs: Pickguard has been changed, pickup has been replaced, toggle switch and small route to accommodate said switch. Three position switch allows various configuration of the humbucker including coil splitting.

Cosmetic Condition: Good with lots of checking to the finish, the aforementioned mods, some dings, scrapes, a mark in the pickguard and a hole in one of the cutaway horns from where the upper strap pole was moved and then moved back to its original spot. 7.5 condition out of 10

Operational Condition: Fully-Functioning including all electronics truss rod, etc. Tuners are smooth, frets are in very good shape and action is splendid.

Description: These ol’ ‘Vettes are usually killer when uplugged. They have lightweight, resonant, old wood Honduran Mahogany bodies that ring like a bell and the necks usually feel great too. This particular ‘Vette is no exception. It’s one of the great ones. So, what is sometimes the downside to the Gretsch Corvette? Well, it’s usually the Hi Lo Tron pickup that these guitars were loaded with originally. Many of those pickups were a bit anemic and low output. Luckily, the previous owner popped that pickup out and upgraded this one with a humbucker. Now, it’s ready for you to rev it up and hit the redline and deliver some killer vintage tones with style!
