Modifications: Neck reset and refretted professionally. Hole has been drilled for output jack.

Operational Condition: Fully-Functional

Cosmetic Condition: Good with missing pickguard, exposed screw holes where the pickguard was, a hole added for an output jack (which was never installed), Missing logo at headstock, and other scratches, dings, etc. There is a very small spot where a piece of binding was added near the heel

Description: This is a great ol’ Hollowbody. Nearly all of these Kay guitars from this era need neck resets but not this one because it’s already had it done along with a refret and the guitar is quite a player now with room to adjust the action up or down to your desire. The sound is classic 50s/60s laminate hollowbody which is to say vibe-y and charascterful in a good way. It has been drilled for electronics so you could add a floating pickup and have a great gigging guitar that you don’t have to be too precious with.
