Cosmetic Condition: Very Good to Excellent with some light dings / signs of wear in some spots. The pickup covers have yellowed over time and their are some other light signs of the guitar’s age. 8.5 out of 10 condition

Description: It’s wild to think that considerably more time has elapsed between now and 1989 when this guitar was made then had elapsed from 1959 back to 1989 making this classic sunburst Strat very much vintage. Part of the well-regarded “E-series”, so named that because of the “E” in the serial number denoting 1980s, this was an early example of the American Standard line which had just begun two years prior. Of course all these facts wouldn’t carry much weight if this Strat itself didn’t kick ass. Luckily, it does. From fit and finish, to the nicely broken-in medium neck to the full but articulate pickups, this Strat does the classic maple neck Strat thing and does it very well. It doesn’t hurt that it’s wrapped in a very authentic-looking late 50s sunburst finish (Fender doesn’t always get this right but they nailed it on this one). It comes with a fresh setup from our in-house tech so it’s guaranteed to play and sound great when it arrives in your hands.
